Jake Webster has agreed a new one-year deal with Castleford Tigers.
The former New Zealand international joined the Tigers in 2013 has made 48 appearances in an injury-hit time at Wheldon Road.
However, the 32 year-old managed 18 appearances during Super League XX and is delighted to have extended his stay with the Tigers:
“I’m really happy to have signed for another year at Cas. The club and fans have been amazing during my team here. I’m really looking forward to getting back to pre season and kicking off the 2016 season,” Webster told the club’s website.
Head coach Daryl Powell added: “Jake Webster had a strong season in 2015 and we are confident he can grow further as a player.
“I’m delighted he has agreed to extend his stay here at Cas to give our backline both an experienced and a fresh edge to it.”
