Dewsbury Rams have signed Kyle Trout from Wakefield Wildcats on a one-year deal.
The back-rower has made 23 Super League appearances for the Wildcats since making his debut for the club in 2012.
However, Trout appeared just twice in Super League last season – both back in April, and the 24 year-old believes that moving clubs will give him the best shot at first-team football.
“I’m really pleased to have signed for the club,” Trout told the Rams’ official website. “This move gives me some consistency and the opportunity to settle down, which I am confident will bring out the best in my game.”
