Salford Red Devils have released Liam Hood and Luke Menzies by mutual consent.
23 year-old hooker Hood made 22 appearances for the Red Devils last season, with 20 of those coming from the bench.
The former Leeds Rhino has been granted a release to join Queensland side Burdekin Roosters in Australia.
Prop Menzies has also been released by the club and is currently considering his options.
The 27 year-old made just one substitute appearance for Salford in 2015 and also spent time on loan with Halifax and York City Knights last season.
Head coach Ian Watson told the club’s website: “Both Liam and Luke are still young and have huge potential. Liam has a fantastic opportunity in Australia and the club wishes him well. We’d like to thank both players for all their efforts whilst with the Red Devils and wish them all the best for the future.”
