Huddersfield Giants have placed Brett Ferres on the transfer list.
The Giants have made the decision having concluded an internal investigation into the 29 year-old’s conduct away from the club.
England second-rower Ferres was suspended by the Giants last month pending the investigation and was linked with a move to NRL side Sydney Roosters.
A statement on the Huddersfield club website read: “Huddersfield Giants have concluded the investigation into the conduct away from the field which led to the suspension of Brett Ferres. That suspension has been lifted and Mr Ferres disciplined in line with company policy. Mr Ferres has also been transfer listed.
“The club will be making no further comment at this stage.”
Ferres joined Huddersfield from Castleford in 2012 and made a total of 76 appearances for the Giants.
