Huddersfield have signed Warrington winger Gene Ormsby on a one-month loan deal.
Jordan Tansey’s month-long loan deal at the John Smith’s Stadium expired this week and the Giants have moved to bring in the 23 year-old.
Ormsby made his Wolves debut in 2014 and has notched up an impressive 24 tries in 37 appearances in primrose and blue. However, the Oldham St Annes amateur has not figured for Tony Smith’s side so far this season.
Huddersfield’s managing director Richard Thewlis told the club’s website:
“With Jordan Tansey having returned to Wakefield the opportunity for another outside back to come into the squad was there and we are grateful for Warrington in allowing Gene the opportunity to get some game time in Super League.
“As with the terms of Jordan’s loan, the player is not permitted to play against his parent club but Gene is available for games versus Hull FC, Wigan and Leeds and will join the Huddersfield squad tomorrow for training.”
